Reversing my own symptoms of PCOS through Nutritional Therapy is what led me to leave a 20+ year corporate role to retrain as a Nutritionist and dedicate my life to helping other women with PCOS gain control of their symptoms!
At age 22, I had gained nearly 3 stone in weight in a year, developed unwanted facial hair, had my hair on my head falling out, and felt so lacking in energy and low, I didn’t know what to do with myself. A diagnosis of PCOS followed, but I was told just to go on the Pill and come back when I wanted to have a baby. A familiar story! After two pregnancies with gestational diabetes, I was increasingly worried for my health. But seeing a Nutritional Therapist changed all that and, through specific diet and lifestyle changes, I managed to reverse my symptoms and take control of my life. I have never felt better!
The approach I take with my clients is all about education and support. I help women with PCOS understand their condition, so together we can work out what’s right for them to get the results they want. We ladies with PCOS can often feel that our bodies have turned against us - and this is where the support comes in. I’m with my clients every step of the way to help them address their relationship with food and start to love their bodies again.
I’m a registered Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach who is passionate about supporting women towards better hormone health and wellbeing, naturally.
As a realistic and empathetic practitioner, I enjoy helping women to become in tune with their bodies, providing them with the tools to overcome their symptoms and feel vibrant and confident. I have a particular interest in improving mood, energy and sleep.
Hi, I'm Louise. I'm a Registered Nutritional Therapist, Health Coach and women's hormone specialist.
I truly believe that all women should be empowered with the information to understand what may be at the root of their PCOS, the support to manage their symptoms through diet and lifestyle changes and the confidence to take control of their health. I am particularly passionate about supporting women during perimenopause and menopause when the usual hormone havoc at this time can be exacerbated for those with PCOS.
I am a Certified Nutrition Health Coach and women’s hormone and fertility specialist.
After several years of struggling to get pregnant in my late 30’s, finally finding out the two decades of a multitude of symptoms meant I had Endometriosis and severe blood sugar issues, I found that nutrition and lifestyle completely changed my health, life and I resulted in our beautiful little boy.
This led me to leave my successful career as a marine biologist and environmental consultant and retrain first as a Holistic Massage Therapist and then as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I love to work with women with PCOS and Endometriosis using a functional approach to support them to find the right nutrition and lifestyle techniques and to make the changes that are needed to optimise their hormones, health and ultimately their fertility.
